WPEngine recently sent an email to my clients encouraging them to review and update their WPEngine account information. The problem is, they didn’t tell anyone how. In the interest of helping my busy clients I offer this post which is a recap.
Step One: Login
Please login to your WPEngine hosting account here: https://my.wpengine.com/
If you don’t know your password, please click the “Password help” link at the bottom of the form.
Step Two: Check Your Users Information
Once logged in, you will see a strip of links across the top left of your user portal page. You will focus on two of them, “Users” and “My account”
Please visit “Users” via the link at that top and make sure my name is in your list of users (see screenshot below). My Account Access level should be “Full (no billing).” Otherwise I get notification each time you are billed and I don’t need to see your bills.
*Any Account access status less than “Full (no billing)” isn’t helpful for me so please confirm or edit my “Account access” as needed.
*This is important and helps me help you.
Step Three: Update “My Account”
Please visit “My account” via the link at that top.
If you are paying monthly you are not saving money. If you cannot edit your plan here, contact WPEngine [1-877-973-6446] and see what you can do to be on an annual plan because you get two months free when you pay annually.
Your credit card:
Please check your expiration date!
Update your card in any way needed to avoid account interruption.
Make sure any missing contact information is added along the way on this page.
Please, do this annually so you don’t need to worry about account security or interruptions.
