About

Welcome to Priscilla Christian Graphic Services!

After racking my brain in an attempt to distinguish myself from an ever growing field of talented contenders I decided to build my site as a place where my clients are the stars and tell the story about my work. I hope that this approach paints a clear picture of who I am, how I operate and what I can do for you. I also hope to demonstrate that I am adventurous and eager to learn and try new things. So if you don’t see specifically a service you need showcased on my site please give me a call or send an email.

If you are interested in history—In the mid ’80 I began working in traditional graphic arts world of lithographic pre-press as a camera operator but alas technology was marching forward and darkrooms were no longer needed. Fortunately, that was the nudge I needed to move from pre-press to learning the design tools that would take me where I always knew I should be. Around 1992, I started working for myself. Because I knew Adobe Illustrator (88) really well I began landing technical illustration projects. In order to produce online portfolios I dove into web development in 1997. Since then, I’ve been building sites with everything from HTML 3.2 through XHTML 1.0 to Open Source content management systems and on occasion—Flash. My last site was all Flash.

For 2010, I decided to make the switch to a WordPress site with a Thesis template framework. WordPress strikes me as a more secure form of open source than the others I’ve tested.  I’ve worked with more than a few over the last six years and been an avid participant experimenting with open source content management systems, social networking, online community development applications.

With each new project I find myself becoming more and more like a Swiss Army knife but design has always been at the heart of everything I do. If it weren’t for design I wouldn’t be in this business at all. I offer a variety of services. If you are in the need of someone with my kind of versatility, please review my Solutions page which features case studies and/or one of my Design, Dev or Draw portfolio pages—or better yet, contact me!

Just for the record, I will document here that I coined the term, “google-ishious!
